Island of a thousand palm
trees - the Canary Island of
LA GOMERA
Originally, La Gomera was
almost double the size, but soil erosion has shaped it into its current form. A world`s natural rarity has
been preserved here – the remnants of a primeval laurel forest, which used to
cover almost all of Europe in the Tertiary Period. Together with a unique
climate, it makes for a very uncommon green island full of deep valleys with
breathtaking views.
